Nala Sinephro

Biography

Nala Sinephro is a Caribbean-Belgian composer, producer, and musician based in London, recognised for her acclaimed fusion of jazz and electronic music.

At just 22, Sinephro composed, produced, performed, engineered, and mixed her debut album Space 1.8, a luminous and critically acclaimed piece that introduced her distinctive language of modular synthesis, pedal harp, and collaborative interplay. The record’s fluid structure and meditative atmosphere established Sinephro as a compelling new force, bridging London’s thriving jazz scene with electronic experimentation.

Her second album, Endlessness, released to further acclaim by Warp Records, is a 45-minute composition that delicately spans 10 tracks, with a continuous arpeggio playing throughout, creating an expansive, mesmerizing celebration of life cycles and rebirth. Endlessness further elevates Sinephro as a transcendent composer, beautifully morphing jazz, orchestral, and electronic music.

In 2025, Sinephro scored the original motion picture soundtrack The Smashing Machine. The A24 film, written and directed by Benny Safdie, tells the story of legendary mixed martial arts and UFC fighter Mark Kerr, portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, alongside Emily Blunt.
