Patrick Hamilton is a multi-faceted artist signed to Decca Publishing and acclaimed for his work as a composer, producer, arranger, and performer. A key figure in the classical crossover genre, his work spans artist production and film/TV scoring, bringing a distinctive voice to the adult contemporary classical space.
Classically trained at the Royal Conservatoriums of Bruges and Ghent, Hamilton began as a session musician before becoming a sought-after producer and engineer. His credits include international artists such as Alfie Boe, David Garrett, Sir Bryn Terfel, and Luke Evans, among many others.
He has also worked extensively with Katherine Jenkins, producing and co-writing several of her #1 albums, including her 12th studio release Cinema Paradiso (Decca Records, 2020), which debuted at #1 on the UK Classical Chart and #3 on the Pop Albums Chart.
In 2019, Hamilton signed with 1631 Recordings (distributed by Decca Records UK) and has since released four solo piano albums, garnering millions of Spotify streams.
In 2023, Patrick signed to Sony Masterworks. His first album, Elements of Nature, through Sony Masterworks, is a collection of intimate felted piano compositions inspired by the natural world. The album captures the delicate beauty of Hamilton’s minimalist writing and nuanced performance, evoking the stillness of a forest, the breeze across water, and the emotional weight of memory. With its immersive and cinematic tone, the album has connected deeply with listeners seeking reflection and calm.
Appointed an ambassador for the Lang Lang International Music Foundation in 2020, Hamilton joins notable names such as Sting, Renée Fleming, and Ron Howard in supporting music education.
In addition to his creative work, Hamilton runs The Globe Recording Studios (founded in 2002) and BROMO Music Publishing. Patrick is represented by Tara Joseph at ATC Management, and was one of the first signings to Decca Publishing alongside Max Richter.
