Tuomas Kantelinen is a classically trained composer from Finland. He has written scores for over 40 feature films and continues to dazzle concert audiences with works for opera such as The Mannerheim Opera and Paavo Nurmi, as well as ballet works for the Finnish National Ballet including The Little Mermaid and The Snow Queen.
Kantelinen is also known for his lush, sweeping orchestrations and memorable melodies, and frequently collaborates with top orchestras around the world. He has a distinct ability to blend mainstream genres and world instruments with orchestral textures and has become a sought-after collaborator for films around the world.
Outside of his film work, he has scored campaigns for well-known brands such as Coca-Cola, MTV3 (Finland), and several major European banks.
