Sebastian Plano on BBC Radio 6

July 12, 2018

Chris Hawkins is joined by multi-instrumentalist Sebastian Plano, who has been making music with the sounds of the Cornish sea.

This exciting campaign is called ‘Keynvor’, which is the Cornish word for ocean, and its main purpose is to raise funds to protect the sea and make people aware of sea pollution. Sebastian has used field recordings of the sea to create the beat and rhythmic elements of the piece.

The ‘Keynvor’ and Sebastian Plano collaboration is being released on the Mercury KX label, with all profits being donated to a surfers against sewage charity.
